This game is on! I’ll post some more tomorrow but here are random thoughts so far;

- Lydia is awesome, we click super well and I’m here for it.
- Gary is pretty cool, we talk B.B. which is nice but also found some time to talk game. Literally though he wanted Danni to go to Refuge because she won Guatemala and it was the weirdest thing ever but also hilarious.
- Amy is nice, her love for ranch and chicken nuggets makes her my type of girl despite the fact I’m gay as Brian (and IRL lul).
- Margaret seems like she’ll be fun to be around, excited for her.
- Jim is nice for volunteering and inadvertently smart since I think he’d be on the bottom half of the tribe anyways if he stayed. He wants me to come with him to Refuge though so that’s nice at least, hopefully that pans out?
- Blake is aight so far. Not anything special atm.
- Brooke and Danni aren’t here which sucks since I would love those reps although Brian’s perfect. I understand that life happens but this is how I feel about them not being here;

Well, your first night in Stranded!

What do you make of the Refuge Twist? Have any official alliances formed or just close friendships so far?

I didn’t do a ton of research before this, so I had no idea about the twist before hand or what it entailed. That being said, it really shakes upcoming the dynamics of this game no matter if you win or lose a challenge. This also is the first time it’s been done (to my knowledge) with all new players so I’m intrigued to see how it goes with us. Sending Jim is fine by me and I’m glad we didn’t send an inactive there like I had thought we should. That would’ve rewarded inactivity and drove me a little crazy.

As for Lucayan, everyone’s great so far! Everyone has shown up so far and it’s been nice to have so many different people. I’ve talked the most with Gary and Lydia, so I’m thinking of making something specific with us three in it. Besides that, Blake had suggested him/Amy/the previous mentioned three since we were the most active last night, but I think that could change with everyone else (Brooke/Danni/Margaret) showing up. Danni and I have talked it up and she’s very sweet, even offering to work with me which I accepted. It can’t hurt and I think she trusts me a lot, so why not capitalize on it?

I want to give Brooke and Margaret a chance too but we’ll see how it goes! I’m going with the flow and just assuming that they will be fully active later on in the weekend so they shouldn’t be counted out.
