With only 15 people left in the game, are you beginning to worry about numbers?

Do you feel like you would rather play with Veterans, Newbies or does that label not affect your decision one way or another?

With there being so many swaps and shake ups, do the original tribes mean less and less as different combinations of people begin to meet? Or is there still a sense of loyalty to your original tribe?

*inhales deeply*

So basically, we really need to win the next challenge. Like badly. Cause if we don’t, a line is gonna have to be drawn in the sand.

Due to Lucy’s ORG expertise, she understands perfectly the she got swapfucked and has been social as hell ever since she got here. And because of that, I’m pretty sure Danni & Brian are gonna want to try and get Drew voted out instead of her if we lose again.

So I tell Joaquin about this, and he tells me that he wants to vote out Brian if we lose the next challenge. Apparently Brian has been getting paranoid about the amount of veterans that are still left in the game, and he also already threw out Drew’s name as a potential target for the last round.

And like, here’s the thing. I was conflicted as fuck last night about this round. Like, there was a good period of time last night where I straight up told myself “If we lose the next challenge, I’m going to link up with the newbies and vote out Drew”. Because I felt like I made genuine connections with Danni & Brian, whereas I joined up Joaq/Drew/Dale almost immediately when the game started purely because I knew them the best out of all the vets. And let’s face it, these 3 guys are morons. They’re reckless as hell, and their view on the game is extremely short-sighted. They’re not trying to think about the long-term, they’re only thinking about now.

But late last night, I’m talking with Dale, and he tells me that Brian approached him in the last round before the swap and told him that he had the votes to get me voted out. I’m a little suspicious that Dale is only telling me about this now, but at the same time I don’t understand why he would lie to me either. So now it’s like..... I have to vote out Brian no matter what. I don’t blame him at all if he really did want me gone that round, but if you mention my name, I’m never going to work with you. Ever. So he’s gotta go if we lose.

And look, I’m not an idiot. I understand perfectly well that I can’t work with the vets throughout the entire portion of this game. At some point I’m gonna have to commit to some of these newbies and start voting some of my fellow vets out of here. But right now, I don’t see any choice but to work with them. If Brian is already paranoid about the veterans now, then he’s never gonna stop being paranoid about us, even if I decided to hash things out with him. He has to go if we lose. There’s no other option.

I’m probably going to tell Lucy about the vote, but not until after we lose the challenge. We’ve connected really well so far, and I see an opportunity to use her as a potential asset in the future. She could even be my one-way ticket out of the vets station.

Danni..... I really want to tell her. But I know I can’t. She’s awesome, I’d like to think we made a pretty tight bond. But I also know that she feels closer to Brian than she does with me. If she finds out, I have no doubt in my mind she’ll tell Brian. And if she does, and he has the idol, we’re basically fucked. So she can’t know. And knowing Danni, she’ll be pissed as fuck about the whole thing. But if all this does happen, I feel like I have a good enough explanation that she’ll understand why I voted for Brian.

I said this to someone in one of my messages, and I think it ultimately rings true: You’re not playing Stranded the correct way if you don’t make a few enemies along the way. And if we lose this challenge tonight, I’ll definitely be making some enemies.

*exhales exasperatedly*

goddamn, we really need to win that next challenge.
