Hey everyone, so excited to be stranded with you all. How's everyone doing?

I did some research everyone! I looked up Stranded with Refuge on the Stranded website to see if there was any more information we can get to help us with the choice.

"(June 16th, 2012 – July 23rd, 2012)
Stranded with Refuge was the sixteenth season and the fourth All-stars in Stranded. Typically, All-star seasons only include contestants from the previous 3 seasons, however Stranded with Refuge featured All-stars from seasons 9-15. This season’s twist revolved around the new concept of Refuge. In the beginning of the game 22 players started on one beach. 2 won Individual Immunity and picked tribes of 10. The two players left over became members of the Refuge tribe. The Refuge Tribe would be Immune for a pre-determined amount of time. Each week one tribe of 10 lost Immunity and had to vote someone out, while the winning tribe also went to a ceremony: The Refugee Induction. There, the most recent Refugee would select one person on the winning tribe to join them in Refuge. Slowly but surely, the Refugee tribe grew. When there were 4 players remaining on both original tribes of 10, they were merged to face off against the complete tribe of 8 refugees. After another 4 councils, the two tribes merged into the final tribe of 12."

I guess it will be something similar with this game too, right?

Wow. Thanks for the research. I actually understand the twist now. I assume this will be extremely similar.

That's my assumption too. We're just picking people to go to Refuge right away instead of picking teams.

Anybody gonna build the shelter or fail to make fire?


That twist is very interesting. comes with some safety... Think the time frame will be the same?

It could be, but with a cast this size it probably will be a little less? Maybe when we are down to 6 on a team or 5 on a team instead of 4

Oh and

Several of us are gonna have to go, so it's maybe not super critical...?

Most of us are going to end up over on Refuge so long as we win challenges, so this pick isn't that important.

Oops I should probably help make the fire? I have a fiery personality, does that work?

Also I don't want to necessarily go but also if nobody else wants to go, I'd be willing to? Could be fun, why not right?

I don't cook, I don't clean, but I will gladly cheer us on.

We send someone from our team to Refuge tonight then both tribes do an Immunity Challenge later on in the round.

After Immunity Challenge the losing tribe votes someone out, Winning tribe has the Refuge team pick someone from winning team to join them

Repeat until predetermined point in time

So it's like Redemption but the winning team sends somebody there yes?
