Fuck I love and I hate the ones where you're just supposed to figure it out. I tried looking for hidden tags in every tree mail / the launch page, entered in every password from the "merge" challenge where four people won immunity. Checked each user group's page, and the hosts' profiles. I'll figure this shit out.

fuck yes got lucy to accidentally reveal the clue to me

A colonial song isn't the only one we know; Lots of music and lyrics for special occasions to show. The nation itself has many aural offerings to take; Pick the right one quickly, there's only your life at stake.

OK slept on this and I feel like I understand it way better. I'm not giving up on it, there's no way Danni or Lucy could one-clue solve, based on what they've told me in present and past they're not good enough to get them

The colonial song is for sure God Save the Queen. All the British Commonwealths have it as their unofficial song. So the 'we' here isn't a band like music thinks - it's the people of Turks + Caicos. I tried the new national anthem and it didn't work but i feel like im on the right line

ugh i thought for sure that'd be it:
"Auld Lang Syne" (Scots pronunciation: [ˈɔːl(d) lɑŋˈsəin]: note "s" rather than "z")[1] is a Scots poem written by Robert Burns in 1788[2][3] and set to the tune of a traditional folk song (Roud # 6294). It is well known in many countries, especially in the English-speaking world, its traditional use being to bid farewell to the old year at the stroke of midnight on New Year's Eve. By extension, it is also sung at funerals, graduations, and as a farewell or ending to other occasions
