This is Danni's Final Tribal Council Thread.

All other Jurors should remain in their own threads. Final 3, remember... this is not for you to address each other, but to talk to Danni. In-fighting amongst the Final 3 should be reserved for the Live Final Tribal Council on Sunday.

Danni, you have until Saturday at 8c/9e to post your statements/questions to the Final 3. Remember not to take up too much of their time as they have 10 other jurors to get to. Please no listing or questions requiring novels for answers. You can ask more questions after the final 3 have answered if you truly do not have enough information, but remember... there is a live Final Council on Sunday where you will get to address everyone live with statements they have made.

YAY IT'S MY TURN TO TALK

Image

Dearly beloved, I'm here today to find any reason to feel good about my vote this weekend. I have a feeling I already know who it will be, but maybe things will change here. wow me.

LUCY:

First of all, on a personal level I love you. You're extremely crass, which I love in a lady. Your opening statement gave us great insight into how you took control of the late merge, and you were honest about not always being the one calling the shots, which I appreciate. However, I also appreciate players who can recognize their flaws and admit to their mistakes. Looking back at your game, are there things you would change? Do you think there is anything you could have done better or differently to secure yourself a legacy as one of the greats, and not just a decent winner?

ADAM/ZEKE:

Congrats on making the end. I'm glad I got to spend as much time with you guys as I did, because i do feel like we got along pretty well despite constantly being opposed to each other in the game. I'm sad we were never able to make something happen. I'm addressing the two of you together because i see a package deal. The way the game played out, the two of you were constantly used as the idol plans, and were mostly used as a pair of votes for Lucy and Drew to aim wherever they pleased. I would like each of you to tell me how your game was different from the other's. This is for the win and i want to see some fire in both of you, not the sneaky PC non answers you gave Jeff throughout the game. I won't feel comfortable giving either of you my vote until you can show me that you were a player, not just a pair.

finally for all 3 of you:

I want each of you to tell me who on the Jury you saw as the biggest threat to your game, and how you worked to eliminate that threat. What steps did YOU take (not the Taino alliance, but you personally) to make sure you were sitting next to the people at the end who you wanted to be there with?

That's all I have for now. I look forward to hearing your answers and discussing them a bit.

I am not perfect or delusional about playing a perfect game, but I think I played a game that is worthy of the Stranded title. I think I came on very strong in the end, both competitively and strategically, and it wasn't by total luck or being a 'goat' that got me to this position. I assessed who my biggest threats were and eliminated all of them at the right times.

In terms of my flaws... I regret how I acted during the final seven round, specifically at Tribal Council. Emotions were running high and I really was upset about voting Caryn off and upsetting you. I know that I deserved everything that you and Chrissy said to me, but it still hurt.

I made my bed when I voted Caryn off and I was just being a grumpy bitch about lying in it. I wanted everyone to understand that I could have feelings for people and truly care about them- but still play the game hard. It's hard for people to reconcile someone being a lying manipulator and also having real feelings for people, like you can't be both, but I really did care about the people I voted off and hurt.

I wish I could stand up here and pretend that I was this soul-less bad ass that conquered you all, but I'm human and I befriended a lot of the people that I inevitably stabbed in the back or voted out of the game.

I think I could have been a lot more delicate with how I handled stabbing people in the back. I laid it on a little too thick some times and other times I just avoided the situation all together because I didn't want to insult peoples intelligence.

This might sound like a weird regret, but I regret allowing this game to consume me. At final seven I had a complete break down and was sitting at my computer desk feeling like an idiot that an online game had brought me to tears. I think a lot of the time I took things a little too seriously and forgot that this is just a game.

I want each of you to tell me who on the Jury you saw as the biggest threat to your game, and how you worked to eliminate that threat. What steps did YOU take (not the Taino alliance, but you personally) to make sure you were sitting next to the people at the end who you wanted to be there with?
The person that I felt was the biggest threat to my game was you. As soon as we merged I pegged you as my biggest competition because all of the vets loved you and all of old Lucayan loved you as well. When I voted off Caryn was my first step towards trying to eliminate you, but then you found the hidden immunity idol, and then you won fucking immunity Lol.

The only reason I was able to beat you was because I dug deep and was able to pull out that final 5 immunity win and even that competition I barely beat you. I have no doubt if you made it to the final competition you would have won it and you would have won the game no matter what configuration of Me, Adam, or Zeke you sat next too.

The steps I took to win were to constantly point out the jury votes... How you would win... How Drew would win... How Lydia would win... I did everything in my power to make myself the most tempting person to take to the end. I played up the fact that the jury would be bitter with me and how they would never forgive me for stabbing them in the back. I never mentioned or alluded to the fact that I was the ONLY person that was in on every elimination. I learned very early on that the moment you spoke up and started throwing names out in this game- someone would rat you out and your head would be chopped off. I internalized a lot of information and did my best to make sure everyone trusted me and felt like they could confide in me and that worked in my favor. During that In Crowd Survey I was labeled as one of the most trusted players and that is pretty fucking impressive when most of the jury consisted of allies that I had stabbed in the back or sold down the river.

To sum up how I got here it required a lot of schmoozing, strategy, competitiveness, and determination. I eliminated all of my biggest competition and made it to the end with the two people I had the best chance of beating. Survivor 101.

Hello Danni! icon_wub

First off, I really do want to say that it was really awesome talking to you and I always finding myself coming back to you ready to have a conversation. I had always found myself really enjoying your company and there's been a lot of moments where I actually felt that we've seemed absolutely cool together. And also, I have to say that I wish we could have ended on a better note. I even remember sending you a message where I was sincere about us wanting to mend things together and actually completely wanting to fix things in order for the two of us to not end on a note like we actually did!

What made my gameplay different from Adam's was that I always was willing to seek out an opportunity to snag a move that could help me improve my position and help me get further into the game. In a game such as Survivor, a second chance at a move that could change your whole gameplan doesn't come often and when I saw an opportunity to do it. I wanted to jump in at any given time. If I had to give an example, I'd say that the Chrissy vote was the perfect moment that I knew that if I go against someone who could potentially be a huge contender for the win, I will get absolutely nothing. Also, not to mention, she was an intimidating player who really had a lot of ammunition on her to really rip people apart. And that's what I can say that I knew I had to do. When I saw an opportunity, I wanted to dive right in, even if it would potentially backfire for me. Another thing that made my game different from Adam was that I was self aware of how I was perceived by many people. Not a lot of people considered me a big player that could call the shots and just ran with it. And that's what definitely helped me get to where I am. I've basically played a game where I knew that if I did the wrong step, I could have immiedately lost my position and I'd absolutely would have landed in the Jury. But at the same time, it allowed me to maneuver my way through the game without even anybody thinking that I'm a threat and have had people in my corner through the whole game.

And to your second question. If I had to pinpoint the biggest threat. I would have to say that without a doubt it was Chrissy, as I have said before. Chrissy was a phenominal player and even I have thought that she was someone who would have been an absolute beast at the Final Tribal Council. She really has been someone who even if you didn't like her, you'd still would absolutely respect her gameplay. Chrissy's downfall was basically planned with as much work put in as possible. We all split the vote for her with a 4 - 2 - 1 ratio. Originally, it was supposed to be divided differently. However, most wanted to go for the majority vote just to be safe. And with Lydia being the one to put down the vote for you. It all basically worked in our place basically. And as for what steps did I take in order to get here? I've always kept myself loyal to the right people which was to Lucy and Adam. I've made sure that I wasn't seen as a huge threat to nobody that could make me be considered as someone who is threatening. I've had to make sure that the votes were there and ready to be used in order to kill off the person that I wanted to go forth.

I hope that these answers are enough for you. If you have anymore questions that you want to give to me. I am very happy to answer anything that you'd absolutely want!

Hello Danni!

The feelings are both mutual. Your a cool girl and I enjoyed all of our conversations. Plus the "Motherfucker" comment still kills me haha. I truly respected you as a person and a player and I enjoyed playing with you.

My game was totally different from Zeke's. I will start off by that Zeke was never a target or never really had several people writing his name did at the start. When we merge everyone saw me as the King of the Taino tribe. Zeke was not and people were not threatened by him. I also feel like I was MUCH more sociable with everyone than He was. I made sure to have conversations with everyone that was not just about the game. I talked with people about their personal lives, interests, work, school, dog, and lots of things. They were genuine totally and I knew that would be a way to get people to want to keep me around and think im trustworthy. That I was not the "Head of the Snake" as someone referred to me too. So to say all in all I actively had to chat with people and work hard on my social game and find ways to work with people and be honest with how I felt about certain players and who was a threat. Also to counter Zeke's point, I went to Drew and made the pact to work with him because I knew after the Survey challenge everyone saw me as a goat. I would of rathered you guys heard I was targeting each of you and you took me out for trying to make a move and change my game instead of passing along which is what everyone thought I was doing.

Drew and Lucy were on my side but I had to pull Lucy in to turn on you guys. I knew she was close with you and the girls so bringing her in was vital but I also saw how she turning on you guys could upset her game. Dale was angry at her for voting Joaquin and I knew that could hurt her in an endgame. I just hoped that at the end people would feel emotionally unconnected to Zeke and feel betrayed by Lucy. Hoping that in the end they would see me as someone who fought against the odds at the start then managed to make relationships with everyone and see that I was able to take out many big players and with the help of my allies and alliance. Also I never planned on going to the end with Drew, I knew he would potentially kick our asses in the end and the same with all of you guys. Lucy and Zeke were my best angle and we happened to be longtime allies which worked out.

DANNI girl this is no bullshit or lies and everyone can agree to this including the hosts. I wanted you out of this game for a long time because for many reasons. I genuinely liked you and you were easy to talk to. I respected you as a player and you had played a clean game throughout your whole run. You to me were the biggest threat because to me it was no question you would win and everyone would see how great you played the game. Had you not of won immunity at Final 6 it would of been you. Zeke wanted to keep you at final 5 and I thought that was absolutely insane and ridiculous because you were a challenge threat and we all were toast against you. I say this with the most respect because I really knew the reality of we were fucked sitting next to you. I even felt horrible voting you out because I knew you deserved to win but as a competitor and for my dignity I couldn't take that chance.

I like you a lot Danni and I hope that these have answered your questions. I will answer anything else you want me to

So was the only role you played in this vote being a number for your alliance? Did you do anything to ensure the numbers came in the way you wanted? Or did someone else do the dirty work?

Thanks for the honest answers. You really did do a good job of making yourself look less threatening than your competitors. Were you worried than in downplaying your role in each vote, you'd have trouble defending your case to the jury in the off chance that your plans didn't work and Drew/Lydia/Chrissy/Myself were sitting here with you?

I did think that that could potentially hurt me in the end, but I also felt that based on the fact that most of the jury consisted of the vets and every single person that voted off left being such good sports that they would at least hear me out and let me explain my strategy and the moves that I made. I also felt that because I had made so many friendships and bonds that that could play in my favor as well.

I don't think I could have beaten you or Drew. I feel with Lydia and Chrissy it could have been close. Especially factoring Adam and Zeke into the jury in those scenarios.

Not in my mind was I just a number. Here is an example. The night we sent Chrissy home I was pulling hard to get Lydia on our side and vote with us. I was told you had the idol which I suspected and I was pushing the whole time we split the votes 3-2-2. I was doing everything I could to bring Lydia in and get her to turn on you and knew that it was risky because you two were close and she could go right back to you and tell you the plan. So that night I told her to vote you and then I told the alliance we needed to vote out Chrissy that way we could flush out your idol and get Chrissy out who was another big player and threat. Leaving Lydia out with a vote for you was gonna put her in a bad position and possibly turn her completely angry and bitter towards me. That was ALL on me getting her wrapped in but ultimately taking Chrissy out. I was so worried if we all voted for you and took the risk then you would of stayed and then one of us was gone and my chances of going to the end looked really slim. So to answer, I pulled Lydia in against you but then I turned on her and had us split the votes on Chrissy. It was dirty to do Lydia that way but I wasn't just a number and went whichever way especially in this case where I risked a lot and the vote relied on my input.

Cool. it's nice to know that the two of you disagreed on votes at times, and I'm glad you have legitimate reasons for why you wanted to sit next to each of your competitors.
So I asked Adam to tell Lydia to vote for Danni and to propose a final three between the two of them and Zeke. I figured if Lydia wanted to win she would be counting the 100 dollars if she was sitting with both Adam and Zeke and it would be an enticing offer. But I also felt like Lydia might run to Danni and possibly tip her off about the plan which would cause Danni to play her idol on herself rather than Chrissy
This was from Lucy's opening statement, and from my perspective this was the best step taken to get me out, as I trusted pretty much every word that came out of Lydia's mouth. It seems like it was executed by you, but planned by Lucy? Would you care to elaborate?

We all were strategizing about who to take out and how to avoid you playing an idol. Now if I remember correctly I brought up us splitting the votes. I had many big plans on us splitting the votes and this time was one of the times it worked and came into play. We all suggested certain things but I was always pushing we split the votes. I came to the conclusion that if Lydia stuck with us or not we would be safe if we voted Chrissy. I pushed that and then put the plan into effect. That is what I remember to the best. It was way too risky for us to trust Lydia and to put all the votes on you and I was adamant we do that and everyone went with it.

From August 5th

k so lydia
just told me
she loves danni
but knows she cant beat her
this is where you need to swoop her ass up.
cause in her mind she will think she can beat you and zeke.
she will jump at it. and it gives us a backup if drew tries to fuck us

^ I messaged Adam telling him to propose a deal with Lydia in preparation for the plan. And Lydia can confirm this too because

Adam responded with

'I agree, I am pulling Lydia in now
Adam 11:12pm 5th Aug
I think its working

she agrees and wants to go to the finals lol'

This was a key and has this not happened Lydia wouldn't have randomly voted you.

Adam did propose splitting the votes and that is true as well... but we talked it out and the last thing that happened before he went to Danni was me saying he needs to tell Lydia to vote Danni.

So the truth is in there between both sides of the story.
