UGH JEFF. THIS GAME IS FUCKING DRAINING
lol if I've learned anything its that everyone is here to play for themselves, no matter how much you want to believe they have your best interests at heart. I've also learned that apparently i'm very threatening despite being on the wrong side of the vote as often as I'm on the right side of it. guess if I had to go back and redo this I would have worked harder to conceal my relationships so people wouldn't assume the jury is full of my friends...... which it is :) I don't think theres very much that I can use to my advantage moving forward other than working to make drew a target before myself which is totally possible, it just depends on if I can swing anyone.
lol my plan to win the game is to fucking show up and give my all at immunity challenges because its about all that I can do to survive 3 votes. Drew went off on this fantastic story about finding a secret idol at refuge that can keep one vet safe and one newb safe and keeps telling me that he's going to play it on me tonight so we're good. It honestly sounds like a load of bullshit and I don't buy it for a second. But I don't need to give them another reason to want me out so I'm playing dumb and acting like I believe it.
I think rather than run scenarios of who I plan to go to the end with (because none of them want me there), I'll just talk about possible paths. I think my best bet would be to convince Lucy to turn on Adam and Zeke, just to get rid of a strong pair. My pitch to her last night which I will continue to use today is that the two of them would have no problem cutting Lucy at 4 to take Lydia with them to the end. I don't know if its true, but I definitely think its a possibility. Even if lucy voted with us once, I'd be in a much better position.
My other option is to trust Drew and hope that he uses an idol on me to get me to final 5, where us 2 and Lydia would have the numbers. This seems like a big stretch to me. I think its in drews best interest to keep me around so I'll be the target and not him, so at the very least it wouldn't surprise me if he pushed for a Lydia vote tonight so I could stick around. idfk. I'd really like to cut the dude, but I don't know if I'll get the chance.
Those are my only 2 clear paths forward, and I think no matter which way I go I'd be siting next to another competitor with a strong game. once I finish these thoughts I'll talk some crazy options. I think if I manage to make the end with these odds my case would be pretty straightforward. I'd just argue that against all odds I made it to the end, and hope the relationships I have on the jury pull through.
ok a less likely scenario moving forward would have to be working adam and zeke to take out another vet (lol it would be 6 vets in a row if we did that) so the newbs can fight it out at the end. The problem with this scenario is I lose a potential number in drew, who despite lying to me, would still consider working with me going forward.
I could also fuck over Lydia to ensure I stay for one more round, but I'd feel like shit about it. I know she'd do the same to me but I honestly have loved playing with her and wish we could have gone all the way together. If that 1% chance of both of us making the end comes true, I'll be a happy camper.
