Now that you've had some time to decompress from the craziness, let's do a recap.

After the first challenge and council, Hannah is voted off. Then everyone in the game is blindsided with a fauxmerge and live vote.

Do you have any regrets about the live council, wishing you had spoken up more? How does that council affect your game going forward and what were your thoughts on the outcome of Brian leaving? Were you surprised by any votes? Does this make you want to play a bit more aggressively now having seen that anything can happen?

Finally, what are your thoughts on the merge tribe and the makeup of the people here?

On Brian’s exit:

First things first, what an amazing fucking twist. Truly and utterly brilliant stuff. I genuinely did not see that coming, and it sure as shit shifted the game into high gear after being on autopilot for most of the pre-merge.

As far as Brian’s actual exit goes, I’m indifferent. I do think he would’ve been a number on my side for at least the first 4 rounds of the merge. But at the same time, there’s not a doubt in my mind that he would’ve turned on the veterans eventually. And like, he brought my name up as a target previously. So I’m definitely not all that upset to see him get eliminated from the game in that manner.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On my vote for Adam:
I voted for Adam in that tribal purely because I didn’t know the guy. There was really nothing more to it. And I was extremely happy to see Dale & Drew call out Adam publicly in that tribal because it made them look like absolute douchebags and I was able to just sit back and watch them burn themselves lmao.
My vote for that tribal was always between Adam & Ryan, and I think the reason why I decided to keep Ryan is cause I felt that the returnees needed all the numbers in the merge that we could get, and I genuinely felt like I could hash things out with him and we could work together. But I would later find out that that was not going to happen, and I probably should’ve voted him out at the impromptu tribal. Oh well lmao. I’ll explain more about it in this next little section.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

On Ryan and his antics:

So after we officially merged, one of the first things I do is approach Ryan and try to clear the air and see if we can work together. And he responds and says that although he was upset about what happened, he understands that the veterans all need to work together in this merge because the newbies were clamoring for one of us to get voted out next. And apparently Adam & Zeke are both extremely anti-veteran, and nobody really likes them so they’d be easy first 2 boots. Perfect! We’re all good then.

Not.

As I’m continuing to talk to Ryan, I’m starting to get really sketched out by the dude. He started claiming that he doesn’t care if he wins, as long as all the vets make the F6. And I’m just sitting there like “Yeah, OK, you’re clearly full of shit when you’re saying that” lmao. So I approach Chrissy and ask her what the deal with Ryan is and she said that he still absolutely fucking hates me & Joaq and wants us gone. So at this point I’m like yeah, there’s no way this whole veterans thing is gonna work.

Then all hell breaks loose.

Yesterday I started hearing from some of the other veterans that apparently someone told Ryan that all of the veterans are coming after him and want him gone next. And Ryan, being the paranoid little twerp that he is, believes it. And after he hears this, this maniacal motherfucker starts going around and spreading a bunch of lies & causing a lot of chaos. Apparently he’s been going around to literally every single newbie and saying that he’s against the vets and wants us all gone. He’s been specifically targeting Dale in all of these little anti-vet spiels he’s giving the newbies, claiming that Dale wants him gone cause Danni & Gary told him so. But none of that is true. It’s just Ryan trying to stir a bunch of shit cause someone baited him with fake information and now he’s panicking. He even sent me a fucking message and was like “Don’t trust any of the other vets, you’re on the bottom, they told me that you’re gone right after me”. And it’s like dude, you’re a terrible fucking, nice try lmao.

Surprisingly enough, I don’t think Ryan wants me gone. He seems to be aiming his missiles towards Dale & Joaq instead, which is kind of what I’ve been working towards. But still, at this point I’m so sick and tired of this dude’s antics that I want him to get voted out tonight. And he will get voted out tonight, because everyone else is sick of it too. Because it’s not even funny, it’s just annoying that we all have to deal with this headcase of a fucking player. He legitimately needs to be admitted into a mental institution.

There were rumblings that he might have the Taino Idol, but with the way he’s been scrambling and panicking for the past 24 hours, I highly doubt he has it.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On my relationships with the newbies:
Right now the newbies that I love and trust the most are Danni & Lucy. Right now I’d say I’m the closest with Danni though just because I’ve been with her longer. I really like her. She’s opinionated, bitchy, outspoken. Basically the type of person I like I to surround myself with. I think ultimately though I have better chats with Lucy though. She’s not so fixated on the game all the time, she’s very funny and easy to hold a conversation with. Most of the vets love her and want her to stick around since she’s basically already one of us, but I don’t really think that any of the newbies I’m aligned with care about keeping her around that long. So I’m gonna have to find a way to change that.
I also like Lydia, but I haven’t been with her long enough to know for sure if I can trust her fully. Same with Gary, although I’m a little more skeptical with Gary cause I’m pretty sure he has the Taino Idol & I’m not as certain as to where his head is at.
I’m pretty sure Jim is on our side, but I still want his ass gone for bringing my name up as a target back at Lucayan. And honestly I have no problem getting rid of a number because I’m pretty sure we already have the overwhelming majority. The good news is that he’s going on a little cruise trip this week, so I think what I’m gonna do is one of these days this week I’m just gonna approach everyone and be like “Yo, Jim is barely online cause of his cruise, and he’s already useless even when he’s here. I don’t feel like dragging dead weight around so let’s just vote his ass out because he’ll be an easy scapegoat boot for a round”. I’m sure most of them oblige.
Adam & Zeke I’m already immediately weary of because I’ve heard how they’re very anti-veteran. But like, let’s be honest, they’re absolutely fucked here. They have no one but each other. But I still don’t want to let them go to waste. I mean there is a strong possibility they’ll be the next 2 boots after Ryan, but just in case shit goes sideways for whatever reason, I want to make sure I have them in my pocket if I need them. Nobody seems to care to want to talk to them extensively or get to know them cause everyone assumes they’re practically dead in the water at this point, but I’ve been making an effort with them even despite how utterly boring they are. I’ve already told Adam that I heard his name being brought up, in hopes that I can garner a little trust with him just in case I need to use him for something in the future.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

On my pre-merge game:

I’m very pleased with how I played the pre-merge portion of the game. Obviously I think it could’ve been executed better, but I’m still pleased.

Essentially my gameplan in the pre-merge was to play a more under the radar type game but at the same time not be a follower of someone else either. I wanted to make it seem like Joaq & Dale were the shot callers of the veterans, but it’s more of a group decision between all the veterans.

But I noticed how Joaq & Dale were already playing hardcore very early into the game, and I decided to capitalize on that. Anytime any of the newbies approached me about the vote for the round or what the plan for the round was, I’d always start my reply to them with “Well, according to Joaq & Dale....” or “Well Joaq & Dale mentioned that.....”. Obviously it’s not some big major move or anything, but even a strategic decision as small as that can change people’s perception if you constantly do it the way I did.

And I think it worked? I feel like most of the newbies in this merge have set their sights on Joaquin & Dale as the alpha dogs of the veterans. So if everything works out the way I hope it will, Joaq & Dale will be the main priorities for the newbies when they start turning against us and want to target the veterans. That will give me some breathing room to enact my big plan that I want to do in the merge, which I’ll explain in the next section of this post.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On my plans for the merge and beyond:
As I’ve already a stated a few times before, I don’t really want to work with any of the 3 fuckboys that I’m in an alliance with for a long-term situation. Mainly for 3 reasons. First, they’re extremely reckless & outspoken and I don’t want them to drag me down with them. Second, Joaquin has played a very aggressive and hardcore game so there’s no way I’m going to end with him. And third, even if I stuck with these guys and took it all the way with them, I’m fairly certain they’ll cut me at the F4. I’m not playing to make it far, I’m playing to win.
Right now what I want to do is that in these first 4 rounds, I want to vote out Ryan/Zeke/Adam/Jim. And during these 4 rounds, I want to slowly start to form a bad bitches alliance between myself/Danni/Lucy/Lydia/Chrissy. Danni I’m pretty sure I can get on board cause I’ve already kinda mentioned it to her and she seemed excited about it, and Lydia will follow whatever Danni does. Lucy I feel confident in getting onboard because she’s pissed at Joaquin cause she gave him info and told him not to leak it and he did anyways. So that kinda soured her on him and left her crawling to me. Chrissy I think will be the hardest to get onboard because she seems very veteran-oriented, but luckily Joaquin & Dale provided me with the perfect ammo to turn her against them. They fully believe that she’s secretly working with Ryan and leaking convos to him, but I think they’re just overthinking things way too hard per usual. I don’t doubt that Chrissy is talking to Ryan, but I firmly believe she is with me. So once Ryan is voted out, I’m gonna tell her about what Joaq & Dale have been saying behind her back, and that should easily be enough to turn her against them and join me and the fellow whores.
Once everything is all settled in and good to go, we’re gonna vote out the 3 fuckboys and Gary. And take this all-female HBIC shit to the final 5.
Truthfully that probably won’t be the case cause I’m thinking way too far ahead in the game lmao, but it’s nice to think that it could happen. So I’m just gonna keep believing that it will.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

So yeah, that’s pretty much everything that’s going on in my head in regards to this game. I know it’s a lot of words, and a lot to process. But I suppose that’s what happens when you don’t update your confessional in like 3 days even though it’s the first merge round aka the round where everything turns messy as shit lmao.
