Episode 10

Now that you've had some time to decompress from the craziness, let's do a recap.

After the first challenge and council, Hannah is voted off. Then everyone in the game is blindsided with a fauxmerge and live vote.

Do you have any regrets about the live council, wishing you had spoken up more? How does that council affect your game going forward and what were your thoughts on the outcome of Brian leaving? Were you surprised by any votes? Does this make you want to play a bit more aggressively now having seen that anything can happen?

Finally, what are your thoughts on the merge tribe and the makeup of the people here?

I will do a double feature as soon as I get my thoughts and get some other things out of my hand first.

Too bad that the last round's question weren't saved cause then I'd have double the content, double the journal length.

Hello and welcome to Survivor According to Zeke, the recap thread where I talk about what exactly happened in this game and where I will talk in great details about what has happened overall here. Today however, it's a special double feature episode where I will talk about the two past episodes in one entry. So, be sure to get your reading glasses ready cause there will be a lot of stuff that I will be covering today.

In this 8th episode. The schematics of what happened are as follows

- The Day After
- The Immunity Challenge
- The Tribal Council

Sadly, this episode I have lost the questions. So, we will not have the Episode Eight questions. But without further ado, let's go in on this bitch.

On the last episode. Taino has won the challenge. We all celebrated heavily. Some with drinks, some with just going to sleep. Or some with strategic talks. Anyways, after the whole big event. We all were discussing as to what could happen next round. We all either thought that we'd have a break, we all either thought that something big would happen. I have spoken with Chrissy and she said that something wicked may come after the regular Immunity Challenge/Tribal Council. I was a bit skeptical because before, I wasn't sure if a 11 person jury would make sense. But as it may show in the next feature. Anything I know is absolutely wrong. I have been having lots of conversations with Gary and he has asked me about Hannah. And I told him that I talked with her a lot. And that has made him really worried at this point because him and Hannah do not see really eye to eye. But we'll get to that later.

We all go into the next Immunity Challenge but this time, we went in with a disadvantage. As Lydia and Chrissy weren't there. Jim was nowhere to be seen, Gary was running late. And there were only Me/Hannah/Adam and Ryan there during the challenge. Chrissy tried to help us out here aswell. The challenge was a simple wordsearch with Taino dictionary as our main vocal point. We all were trying our best here to win despite us not knowing anything about the dictionary and the slang of people from Taino islands. There was a big mess that unfortunately had us losing this challenge. And we all were pretty upset about it.

Now onto the main portion of this episode where things get absolutely brutal for one of our people. We all are disappointed by the challenge results and how much we tanked this in the most absolute bad way. Some of us were thinking about doing Chrissy because it's obvious that she was an absolute threat here. But with how many people were reluctant to do this vote. We just had no idea what to do. But out of nowhere comes Hannah and she tells me she's voting for Chrissy. And I really was shocked by her vote because voting for Chrissy was pretty much a hardcore way of just being risky. And in all honesty, it was just not a well planned out move. So, we all went for the simple vote of Jim. We all go in and are ready to place the vote. Once everyone places their votes. We just are waiting for this whole thing to be over. I was absolutely stressed out because I was worried that I could be voted out after my performance in the challenge. And I really was scared about what could happen here. But then, the votes are revealed and the plot twist of this episode is that. Hannah is leaving the game. I was absolutely shocked by it and had no idea where this all has came from. It was just the biggest blindside that really just made me shook to the core. Now, we are all ready to just leave for the night when Jeff announces that this not yet over. And what happens next will be the biggest obvious point right now. But with a huge clusterfuck coming.

TO BE CONTINUED

Image
We are now at the second part of this episode and something completely new and this one comes in with the biggest and the most exciting part of the whole game so far. So brace yourself for a lot of twists and turns.

Here are the big events

- The Merge + The Twist Announcement
- The Challenge
- The Tribal Council Debacle
- The Big Culmination

As Chrissy hypothesized and said. The next round will be a merge. But she also was right about another thing that she said in her message to me. That there will be a Tribal Council where someone will leave. And a lot of people were worried that they will not make it to the Jury at this point. We all were really worried as to what in the world will happen here. But as Jeff has announced that there will be 4 people safe for this Tribal Council.

And here is where the challenge comes it. There was a board that if you get in. You will be safe for this Tribal Council, however there was a catch. Only four people will get Immunity. Now, I was hellbent on winning this Immunity Challenge because with what has happened last night. I was absolutely worried about what could happen to me here. So, there was a lot of fire within me to get this Immunity and just make sure that I will stay untouched no matter what the fuck comes my way. And once Jeff has posted the passwords for the boards. I went in as fast as I could. I started to go through the passwords as fast as I could. And just when I got the password. I jumped in. And when I first saw that there were 6 posts already made. I thought that people already made it. So, I was angry at myself for not getting in faster. But just my luck. I actually made it safe and sound. And I got one of the four Immunities. When it all happened. I was over the moon happy as to what has happened. I absolutely relished the moment that I got the Immunity. So, yeah. I was one of the first four to have a guaranteed spot in the merge. And I didn't have to worry about people voting me out.

We all walk into the Tribal Council and everyone started to look at each other and wonder what the fuck could be happening here. Seeing as the PMs and all messaging systems were turned off. All strategy talks were done in the thread. And naturally nobody wanted to talk strategy in fear of being ostracized for it. And it was that moment that made me realize that I was absolutely happy that I won the Immunity. I cannot imagine that I would have survived this Tribal Council. But anyways, the time has ran out and everyone placed their votes. Some landed on Jim, some landed on Joaquin, one landed on Jim. Even I got a vote which by the way. I just love how I already have fans in this game that they wanted to vote me out right now. But all in all, we had a tie between Adam and Ryan. So, we all have to revote. After some more minutes of waiting. The votes were in......And we still ended up with a tie.

And here is where things really boil down to. The people that have been voting for a tie between these two gentleman are now gonna be drawing rocks. Everyone has chosen a rock and all hell breaks loose here. Plenty of rocks were safe, but it all came down between Lydia and Brian to see who will be our first Juror. And out of nowhere, the gavel has fallen and Brian is the one to leave this game as the first Juror. A lot of people were in shock, just like I was. Brian has been an absolutely fantastic player. He has been playing this game absolutely wonderfully, he has been in great contact with the Vets and the Lucayans. And now, he is gone from this game. All because of a rock. And to be honest. It was something I didn't expect at all. However, with all due respect to him and the fact that I'd like to play Devil's Advocate here. I do think that this was a good move as he was a threat. He had plenty of people in his corner ready to kill for him. And he was gonna be pretty much the brute of this game, if he was just safe. So, all in all. Although I care about him and find him to be an awesome guy. He was a threat.

So, after the shock. The merge begins now. And people are already being ready to kill to not let this situation happen once more.

And that is it for this double feature episode of Survivor According to Zeke. This episode has proven the following:

A) If you do not have a good relationship with everyone on your tribe and you do not talk with them frequently. It can all come back to haunt you
B) Even if you are on top of your game. You can still have a nasty fall once shit goes south for you.

Next time, we will be discussing the following things

- More behind the scenes talk
- Merge Assessment
- Questions
and many more.

Tune in next time folks and see ya later aligators! icon_wub

Hello boys and girls. I have to re-write another entry since thanks to the boards, all my hard work has gone absolutely down the dumpster and ready to just get destroyed basically. And the worst part was that I had a lot of things written down that I wanted to talk about but sadly. Thanks to the posting thing. I now have to re-write the whole thing.

So, let’s get to the topics this week:
- Rantre Tribe
- Current situation on the tribe
- Questions

Starting us off is:
Image

Adam and I have been through thick and thin in this game. We have been always on the same tribe and we really just seem to always bond over even the smallest thing and that’s great when you have someone that you can just have a conversation about the smallest things. Even about the game for that matter. He is overall someone that I can definitely say that I would not regret giving him my trust.

Image

Caryn and I are like cars on a highway, we pass each other by when we have the chance to speak to each other. Maybe it’s because we both live in different timezones. However, I do want to work with her throught this because due to the small messages we were hitting each other back with had a lot of great energy and I really want to see what gets her noggin going.

Image

I have managed to speak more with Chrissy and she’s been absolutely great when it comes to being warm and connecting. But just some of the things that she was trying to talk to me about and just tried to shove onto me didn’t make any sense. Like for example when she told me that she was on the lower point of the Refuge tribe, when clearly it was Ryan who was at that point but it was due to him being too sneaky about it. Overall, I do like her but I just don’t think that she’d be someone who could be truthful to you.

Image

Dale is pretty cool. We have managed to bond over Music and I also gave him some Synthwave music suggestions because I got him interested into after I told him a little bit about Vaporwave. We decided to basically have a little bit of a music exchange conversation. Now as for the game play aspect. We did managed to talk a little bit of gameplay but not that much to just get ourselves aligned type of talk. Overall, I’d like to have more conversations with him just to see where his head is at.

Image

I actually really like Danni. When we first met one another after the whole night of craziness blew over. We managed to have a really nice conversation, we got to know each other personally. And overall, I was really impressed with her. The second time around, we actually bonded over how the whole crash course of how nobody wanted to even talk about targets. Which I do admit is still a huge problem till this day. But the fact remains, I find her really cool to have a conversation with and I think she’s someone who I wanna try and get on my side.
Image
Drew and I didn’t really get to talk that much when we merged. I haven’t really seen him around, however once he gets on. I do want to see him

Image
I have actually changed my mind about Gary. At first, I really liked him but I thought myself that he was very shady since he was constantly asking people on our tribe question back during the first Tribal Swap. But now that I have been spending more and more time with him. I am actually more inclined to liking him and he’s been absolutely sweet. But right now, I wouldn’t say that trusting him with all of my gut would give me any good benefits.

Image
Let me be very frank here. I just do not see Jim as someone who could be lasting a long time in this game. He hasn’t been too good at conversations, so to see that he has managed to survive this long. It has been very surprising to say the least. Besides, that both of us haven’t been really seeing eye to eye on certain things and I just find myself not trusting him at all.

Image

Joaquin and I have been having a great friendship building between one another. I have been constantly speaking with him during the weekend phases of this game about basically everything and we have been chill between each other. I’d like to work with him because I see the potential in him to be someone I could absolutely trust and he could be someone who could greatly benefit me.

Image

Lucy and I have been absolutely fantastic friends. We always love to joke around and I always loved getting to know one another even better than before. When the news of Lucy going to Lucayan has dropped. I was absolutely worried for her because she was the only Taino member left. So, to see her back in the group all fine and dandy. We have been absolutely great friends and I want to go with her very far because I have a huge feeling that she’s someone that could give me a lot of benefits going down the line.

Image

Lydia and I haven’t really spoken that much ever since the whole disaster with Hannah’s vote. I do really like her and I want to keep up with her, however. With what has recently came out to the light. Calling her an ally would be an understatement of the season for me. I mean, I like her and all, I want us to give each other a chance and try to get a better relationship. But just, I am not too sure if trusting her would be the greatest of ideas.
Last but not least:

Image

Ryan, Ryan, Ryan. I genuinely like the guy and I like our conversations all the time. However, with what has been coming out to the light by many people. I don’t think trusting him will get me to the end. Plus he’s a very shady character who hides behind his façade of being a caring guy and all that jazz. From what Caryn has told me. Him saying that he was just a poor target that got somewhat targeted was a pure lie. And right now, although I like him. Trusting him with my life would be the same equivalent of giving gasoline to someone who is a pyromaniac.
Overall, here is the ranking of how I trust each of them individually.

1. Adam
2. Lucy
3. Danni
4. Joaquin
5. Dale
6. Caryn
7. Gary
8. Lydia
9. Drew
10. Chrissy
11. Jim
12. Ryan

Now onto what has been happening on the tribe. Jim has told the Vets that Ryan is targeting them and wanting to go after them. Now because of that, Ryan is in a panic mode and just wonders about what could happen. Me and Lucy have sat down and we shared some pretty important information. Gary/Lydia/Ryan and Danni are an alliance. Which makes me really wonder if trusting both Gary and Ryan is absolutely the right choice for giving them the steering wheel while I am in the backseat of this whole thing. Now either Ryan or Gary have the idol from the Taino tribe. Judging by the fact that Gary knows what the password was. Which ergo makes him the suspect for being the one to have the idol.

Now then, let’s get to the questions:

Now that you've had some time to decompress from the craziness, let's do a recap.

I don’t have any regrets at all about the Live Council. Since I have won the Immunity. I knew that I was safe no matter what. And speaking up wouldn’t have changed practically anything. I did mention things about Brian leaving. So, you can just refer to Episode Nine for commentary about that. I was really surprised that Adam was gonna be leaving. That’s for sure. As for Ryan. I kind of have seen it coming. I do think that more or less. As for the last part however. I do think that it makes me want to play a different approach with this game rather than an aggressive one. I’d like to tightrope between both of the groups and try to be on either of the votes so that people wouldn’t really know that I am playing on both sides instead of just one and as the group will go smaller. I’d like to build a final group that I would be essentially loyal to and just go with them to the Final Tribal Council.

Anyways, I think I have written enough today. Overall, these next few rounds will be really interesting to see how they will play out.

So, that’s about it. Join me next time as we will talk more about what happened in this game. This has been “Survivor According to Zeke”

See you next time. See ya later Aligators!
