What are your first impressions of your tribe and what do you make of the Refuge Twist? Have any official alliances formed or just close friendships so far?

Things feel like they're going well so far! I've clicked pretty well with Brian and Gary but we'll see what that develops into. I'm a little worried that some alliances are popping up that I'm not aware of so I'm going to keep working to get some stuff set up

The refuge twist scares me a little bit! I know we had someone from our tribe volunteer on night one, but I'm not quite sure what to expect from the refugees down the line. not having the ability to talk to tribemates/allies who wind up in the refuge is definitely a big fear of mine going forward

after talking with the members of the tribe, I'm a little skeptical of the fact that Lydia is so interested in being sent to the refuge. makes me think shes thinking long term to try and meet people from the other tribe and set up some end game alliances. I'll definitely work with her, but I'm gonna watch my back

WE WON OUR FIRST IMMUNITY CHALLENGE! Lydia and Gary killed it. I felt worthless. but thats ok becaue im not at risk of getting voted out!! I'm a little worried that Jim and Figgy are going to pick one of our strong competitors for refuge though, so I'll have to step up my game. but for now, a happy dance!!

NOOOOOO BRIAN IS GONE

this is a wake up call for me. I'm gonna go ahead and try to solidify an alliance with the people I've meshed with on my Tribe (flash to cutaways of Lydia, Amy, and Gary) to gain a majority on the tribe. Gary is by far my #1 at this point, but i'm happy to work with any of those people.

Gary informed me that Blake was throwing my name around because he thought we got to vote people to the refuge. He said he isnt sure how the twist works but I really dont like hearing my name come up, especially when its being tossed around in a voting situation. If I could get blake out of here I'd be a happy camper

Gary and I have unironicaly named our alliance TOUTTE (two of us till the end) in homage to the trainwreck that is big brother 20 houseguest Kaitlin. I know Gary has been talking game with everyone so I'm not planning on being 100% loyal to this deal, although I think it's my best bet at making a deep run in the game

I've also reached out to make an official deal with Amy, Lydia and Gary to keep myself in the game throughout the tribal portion. As discussed with each of them separately, I think it would be in our best interest to make it to the merge together and pull Brian back in, hopefully giving us a numbers advantage over the other players come merge.

also: still haven't heard from Margaret or Brooke so at this point, I'm pretty much ruling them out as alliance members. They'll probably be easy tribal fodder if we lose a challenge, although I'd honestly prefer to get rid of blake

Gary, Lydia, Amy and I have solidified an alliance here at Lucayan, and have reached out to Brian in hopes of reunting with him later in the game. Working on coming up with an alliance name for the lols.

We spent some time today strategizing with Brian on how we should handle to refuge if we lose a challenge and he has to pick someone from Taino. The debate is over whether he should take a stronger player (active, good in the challenges) and save them for the end game, but giving us a challenge advantage OR if he should take a weak player so the tribe needs to cut their numbers. its an interesting twist to say the least.

I am getting a little nervous about Brian being cut off from our tribe and having access to members of taino. He has a lot of information on alliances and great relationships with everyone. I could see him using that information to his advantage down the road

With the announcement of new Brooke, Gary and I have decided to try and pull her in and make a secret threesome as a side deal from our alliance with Lydia and Amy. I think it will be a good way to target Blake and get him out, which means one less person throwing my name around.

Obviously, we still haven't heard from Margaret so I think she'll still be our first boot if we wind up at a tribal council, which is a pity because I didn't come here for easy votes lol

Anyways, I'm hoping the challenge goes well tonight because even with all of this planning, I could be caught with my pants around my ankles and get voted out if we wind up at a tribal. Hoping that the bonds i'e made with my tribe will carry me further in the game, but you never know what' going to happen

WOW we were a mess at that tribal. Blake's idea to use the shoutboard on the Lucayan beach to strategize really screwed us over. we're dumber for having listened to him. Not looking forward to the refuge ritual. I'm worried that I'm gonna get separated from Gary, which would be horrid.

I do think that Lydia, Myself and Gary have successfully convinced him to take Amy, who is kind and sweet and a good ally. However, she just didnt show up to the challenge today even though she was online, so by sending her we can keep our numbers safe and also keep our strong challenge competitors in Gary and Lydia on the field

Ok having taken the night to think about it, I'm starting to wonder if I made the wrong choice pushing for Amy to go to refuge. I get to stay on the tribe with Lydia and Gary which is ideal, but if we win another challenge I think Amy picks Lydia and leaves Gary and I here with Brooke and Blake, and then more of our alliance numbers are on refuge than on our tribe. Since we aren't sure when a swap/merge/twist is coming, I'm worried with how fast our numbers are dwindling. ugh.

In other news, Gary and I have had some good conversations with Brooke, firmly cementing Blake at the bottom of our tribe should we go to tribal tonight.

lol this game has me so confused about how to move forward. what the hell did I sign up for.

WE JUST WON ANOTHER CHALLENGE! I'm so excited. also a little annoyed that we need to lose another member of our tribe to refuge after we just sent one yesterday. Pretty soon it will just be a tribe of 4 of us! against a tribe of 6! That's a little intimidating.

I'm curious to see who Taino is going to vote out tomorrow. I think this is going to be the first person actually voted off of the island!

Gary and I are going to discuss if I should go to refuge in the morning. It would be good for us to maintain allegiance with Brian and Amy, and possibly pull in Jim. It makes me really nervous to leave Gary behind. It also makes me nervous that Lydia may just be our default pick since she knows Amy so well. I'll try and talk to Amy tonight and see how she feels about bringing me over.

Anyways, off to bed for a well deserved sleep. we killed that challenge. TOUTTE forever.
